We were not planning on getting another dog as we thought we would not have any ties and could do a lot of travelling, but when you way it all up, it just doesn't balance! but DH was just not ready to talk about it.
There is always light at the end of the tunnel though, and my torch is a very cute Standard Poodle Pup belonging to dear customers of mine, Sandra and John.
They bought Elsa in for her haircut on Thursday, she has been by far the hardest dog I've had to clip since Lenny died, as she is the closest to his appearance! Elsa is a very cheeky, lively pup and likes to box!!! she has a beautiful personality and I started thinking about having her here for a whole day when Pete was at home, hoping this would change his mind. in the mean time when Sandra collected her after her haircut, she bought her camera along and took a pic of me with Elsa.
So here is me with Elsa, not the best picture of me, but can't you just see a little shine of joy in my eyes, holding onto this little darling! Sandra e.mailed me the picture and I put it as desktop on the computer screen. Now this upset Pete and he asked me to remove it. Now I knew getting Elsa here was not going to go the way I planned and I knew I needed to give Pete more time. I don't know what happened that evening or what was going through Pete's head but this morning at breakfast, he told me YES we are going to get another Standard Poodle Puppy, but only from Lenny's breeder. You should have seen me blubbering over my toast. I am so happy and the first thing we did after breakfast was to e.mail his breeder. I am now anxiously waiting for an e.mail back... WooHoo! can't wait.
I have more layouts to show you from my latest kit 'Dilys' this is one from Maryse, I really love the cheekiness in this one lol!
This is from Lyn, I really do think B/W pics go so well with this kit too!
and another from Kim Scrappin, and the countryside colours are so fitting with Dilys too!
I have even done a layout with this kit too! I did this for Andrea's quote challenge.
and Kim B played with my kit too! Woohoo! I am so chuffed, this stunner has been done for my scraplift challenge, you wanna come and play?

Hiya Lou! A new member added to the family soon. Awww...Congrats. Those walks will be cherished again. As for the frame..thank you!! love it...and again love the new kit.
Wishing you the best day...
Oh Lou - I am so happy for you! I think that a new pup will be wonderful and definitely the right choice to go to the same breeder - a wonderful track record ;) Can't wait to see photos! Hugs x
I'm so glad you are considering another dog..losing one leaves such a hole in your heart and your life..I well know. We usually always had 2-3 labs at the same time. Our last girl passed just before we sold our property and moved into a Senior Park..we travel a lot in our RV and decided not to get another dog for now...or cat. There is something missing but I just don't like the idea of hauling an animal around in an RV...I hope you find the perfect puppy.....and thanks so much for all the beautiful work you share with us.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful kit!
Lots of luck for the new pup. I grabbed the cluster.... I have been trying to resist this kit. Birds are my trigger. I love all shapes and sizes of birds. I can see now that resistance is futile. I am on my way to DSO.
Im so happy for you getting a new pup...I completely agree with not having a friend home to greet you AND sniff thru all the bags, ggg! So worth the little bit of trouble getting someone to look after your loved one when you travel :-)
Aweome cluster frame Lou, Thank You!
